Mother Nature's Wildcrafted sea moss originates from the Carribbean (St. Lucia and Jamaica). Wildcrafted sea moss contains 92 of the 102 essential vitamins and minerals the body needs. Sea moss in gel form is tasteless and odorless once prepared, and can be used as a nutritional supplement, a thickener when cooking food, and for treating certain skin conditions. Sea moss can also help promote healthy thyroid function.

Directions: Rinse sea moss thoroughly (to get rid of excess sand, salt and debris). (A handful of raw sea moss can typically make a full 12-16 oz jar of sea moss gel). Once rinsed, soak sea moss in spring or distilled water (between 6 and 36 hours) until the texture of the sea moss is soft and gelatin-like (the sea moss will expand). When soaking is complete, rinse sea moss thoroughly again (to get rid of any remaining sand, salt and debris). Add the sea moss to a high powered blender (1 cup of sea moss to 2 cups of distilled or spring water). Blend for 1-2 minutes or until smooth. If too thick, add more water. Refrigerate or freeze the sea moss gel immediately. Sea moss gel will be good up to 4 weeks refrigerated and up to 6 months frozen. Keep the remaining raw sea moss in a cool dry place.
